Refund policy

At Tansy & Topaz Clay Co., we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every piece of wearable art. Because of the personal nature of jewelry and our commitment to hygiene and efficiency, we have established the following shop policies:

  • Returns & Exchanges: For hygiene and safety reasons, we DO NOT accept returns or exchanges. This ensures that every pair of earrings you receive is brand new and has never been worn.
  • Cancellations: Please review your order carefully before checking out. Once and order is placed, cancellations cannot be accepted. This allows us to begin processing your handmade items for shipment immediately so that you can start enjoying them as soon as possible.
  • Refunds and Quality Guarantee: Your satisfaction is our priority. Refunds will be considered if the product does not meet quality expectations, arrives broken, or fails due to a structural defect within 90 days of purchase. 
    • To request a refund, please contact us via the Shopify contact form, with photos providing proof of damage or defect. Once approved, a refund for the item price will be issued to your original payment method. Please note: Shipping fees are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, it covers the cost of the jewelry only.
  • What is NOT Covered: While polymer clay is remarkably durable and sturdy, it is not indestructible. Our 90-day protection policy does not include:
    • Loss of product by the buyer. 
    • Rough handling or damages incurred from improper storage or mistreatment. Though the clay has some flexibility, please do not intentionally bend your pieces as they are still prone to breakage under pressure.
  • Artisan Note: As each piece is handmade, slight variations in color and texture are part of the unique charm of polymer clay jewelry and are not considered defects. Polymer clay jewelry can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Treat your pieces with love, and they will last for years to come!
